Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day to you all!I hope you all have a day full of love and cuddles and of course treats.....hehehe

Mummy took me out for a quick adventure the other day

It was a little chilly that high up but Spring is definitely waking from her slumber.Mummy had a nice birthday and got a lovely bunch of roses from daddy and some nice card..

One of the cards is actually a Valentines card from BellaDharma and Aunty Sherri-Ellen...see the one with the Hedgehog?Then Daddy gots some plants for the garden,Some Primroses,some Tulip bulbs and some Snowdrops that were in a local farmers field that the farmer was trying to get rid of because they aren't good for the livestock so Daddy said he would bring them home for mummy and give them a good home....what a lovely Valentines present that keeps on giving!

Mummy put some of the primroses ,snowdrops and the tulip in this old antique granite pig trough that Came from Grandma's garden and the rest went in these pots...

I thought the Primroses were quite tasty so I ate some of the leaves as you can see...hehehe.Anyway Mummy is taking me out for a Valentines day outing so I must get going but before I do just a little something for our Angel Nellie Bellie.......Will you be my Heavenly Valentine?

2 Celebrations Today!

First Last week was my Gotcha Day!I have officially been living with Mummy and Daddy for 7 Years.....Woohoo!

So Happy Gotcha day for last week to us all!And today is Mummy's Birthday!

Speedy's Snowy Sunday Selfies

Wow I thought we were missing out on the snow fun as everywhere we looked on the blogs everybody was getting the white stuff and the Thursday Night and friday....Bam we had the white stuff....well not really it hopped over our village so we was a dark spot on a white landscape because everywhere else around us got it.2 mins up the road and there it was!So mummy took me out to go find the white stuff,it had already started to melt so we had a 10 min drive to find it!

Of course when dad turned up I had already finished playing in the snow with mummy and decided I wanted to be picked up to warm my toesies....hehehe!
On the Hedgehog front the other Hedgehog Reggie started turning up again.Dad woke mum up early on wednesday morning....hehehe like 3.15 am to tell her Reggie was in the front garden so off she went in her robe to sprinkle some food around him so he could have a snack before trundling back to his nest.It's been icy this week so there isn't much natural food about,So mum set up a temporary Shelter for putting some dry hedgehog food and water out for him which he has been chowing down on he last few nights.

Update on Mickey The Hedgehog

Sorry it's been a few days but Friday mummy took Mickey to the Vets for his Antibiotic injection but that morning she rang them asking if they could contact a local Hedgehog rescue to look after him as he was getting stressed with being in the cage and felt he needed expert care.So a rescue in the local city has him and he is doing very well,his snotty nose/cold has cleared up now and he is putting weight on.Mickey will be staying at the Hedgehog Rescue till the spring and they will contact us to make the arrangements for him to be released when the weather is right in the spring.Mummy phoned them today and got the good news.
Mummy has been a bit down and feeling a bit of a failure.But she is glad she made the right decision for Mickey so is not feeling so down now.So Mickey is having a holiday in the warm till the spring and we will see him then when he comes back home.

New Update on Mr Mickey The Hedgehog

So the saga continues,Mr Mickey had another trip to the vets today for another Lungworm injection.He was weighed and he has put on a little bit of weight so he is now at 742gr which is still a good weight but he did lose a little over a 100gr.He still has his snotty nose but his lungs sound clear so it look like the lungworm has cleared up.The vet gave him a good look over so Mr Mickey had the final lungworm injection and now he is on a course of antibiotics so he had an antibiotic injection today,he then gets another on Friday and another on Monday.He's not curling up because of the snotty nose and he keeps sneezing and he is still coming out in the day for a little snack and a drink so He still has some way to go before he is well again but any progress is good so a little yay is allowed.Mummy is going to set the webcam up tonight so we can see how he is doing and show you guys too.

Up date on Mr Mickey

Mr Mickey had his second trip to the vets today and had another injection for the Lungworm....Hopefully this will help with his snotty nose.Tomorrow he has another vet appointment where he will get looked over by the vet and if he still has his snotty nose he may get a course of antibiotics as well as his lungworm treatment so keep your paws and fingers crossed for him.Mummy put her foot down with daddy so Mickey has a new temporary home indoors will he is poorly.

Mummy took these before she did his food and water so he's tucked up inside the box at the moment...hopefully he won't mind his new temporary home.

Mr Mickey The Hedgehog Vet trip

Mr Mickey had his trip to the vets today for his next shot.He had his weigh in and he has lost a bit of weight ,he's lost about 80 grams or so and has developed a snotty nose The vet seems to think its the lungworm doing it so he had his shot today and has to have it for another 3 days.The poor little mite is not very well so needs a little POTP and it's possible that even though the greenhouse is insulated He may have to come inside...we will have to wait and see.Anyway here he is just about to go into his nest box....
