Hello Blogville its your one and only Gossip Bunny with all the latest going ons in my corner of the world....There have been ups and there have been downs since my last post. But we will start with the ups......
The first up is about Jo-Jo the Crow, after her human mum had been sent some sightings which she passed on to mum, mummy went looking for her and she found her after searching and calling her name for about an hour. When Mummy found her she came fly over to mummy for some tasty snack and ever since that day mummy has been going down to visit Jo-Jo every day with some healthy food. Theres more Jo-Jo has finally Mated, she has got herself a husband and they have their own little territory which is just the next street over from our house....Just a 2 minute walk and we think she may have young which should be fledging about now....isn't that great news?
Jo-Jo is in the middle of her moult at the moment so is looking scruffy comepared to these photos that mummy took but she comes every time mum calls her and nearly always lands on mums shoulder and sometimes stands on mummys head *giggles* She also did come up to the house once just to make sure we were still living there.
The next bit of good news is that Baby the Jackdaw has finally started sheding the broken shafts from all the damaged feathers, Mummy went into the Aviary this morning and there was a collection of them on the floor. He still has a few more shafts to shede but this means the new ones are on their way which is very good news. He has been a bit depressed so mummy has made a high moveable partition on another bit of the garden infront of the aviary so that he can come out and forage and have a bit more space, he gets let out everyday. The first week he was out all the time but now he just comes out when he feels like it but he's definitely much more like his happy chirpy self....
We had to make the partition higher to make sure Baby couldn't jump out *giggles*
Mr Blackbird is now on his second brood of chicks this year so after having a break from his constant visits demanding more mealworms he is back at it again, although not so much the last few days because we have had another heatwave which broke yesterday so this morning he's at full pelt again *giggle*.....We are very happy that the heatwave broke because in the garden in the shade is was 38 to 40 celsius which is 100f to 104f which is more than what was forcasted 35 to 36 celsius 95f to 96f....non of us liked it over those few days. It is so nice to be back to our normal temps for the summer I can tell you! Now on to the downs.....
The Eurasian Magpie sadly didn't make it, it got attacked again and passed away in a neighbours garden. Its very sad but we knew with its missing eye that this was a high possibilty of happening....RIP little Magpie and this leads us on to the last bit of sad news Mummy's Pops, my Grandpaw passed away about a month ago, she is very sad at the moment as we all are. We won't be saying anything else on this because it is all so very raw But RIP GrandPaw we miss you so very much....
xoxo Little Miss Titch

Dear Friends ~ first, let us offer condolences on the loss of your GrandPaw. Saying farewell to loved ones is not easy, but we always try to look back at the many wonderful years we had together. We were happy to read that maybe Jo-Jo has begun her own little family, that would be so special for her, for you ... keep us updated. No photos/news of the "star" here: so we'll just say Hi & Hello to Miss Titch, hope you're well, good and happy. (and that heat, hope it doesn't return ...) Hugs, Ann and June
